Richard L. “Ziggy” Siegenthaler, 62, of Ada, died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born May 6, 1955, in Bellefontaine, to Max and Juanita Smith Siegenthaler. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in West Mansfield. On June 30, 1991, Richard married Robin K. Spradlin and she survives in Ada.
Richard worked for Associated Plastics of Ada. He enjoyed camping and playing video games. He loved his grandchildren and spent as much time as he could with them. Also surviving are four daughters, Wendy (Shannon) Slade of West Liberty, Melissa (Doug Cook) Kaufman of Springfield and Heather (Mike) Blackburn and Kelly Slone, both of Ada; a son, Brian Harp of Columbus; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Chuck (Beth) Siegenthaler of Urbana; and a sister, Roberta (Robert Hutchins) Baughman of St. Paris.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Strong.
Pastor Brad Angus officiates funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, where calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, and until the time of service Friday morning.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charities of the donors’ choices.
