Ruby E. Foster, 85, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away, Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, in her son’s residence in Chandler, Ariz.
She was born Feb. 6, 1932, in Westville, the daughter of the late Charles K. and Ruth Ellen Hines Neal. Ruby was a floral designer by trade and the owner of Everlasting Flowers in Dublin. She was passionate about dancing and spent many years teaching ballroom dancing. She enjoyed gardening, exercising and volunteer work. She was dedicated to her family and shared many loving moments with her grandchildren.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Joyce Foster of Dublin; her sons, Jim Foster of Chandler, Ariz., Bruce Foster of Cohoes, N.Y., and Michael Foster of Indianapolis, Ind.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Foster, Kyle Foster, Alexis Dilorenzo, Anthony “AJ” Dilorenzo and Jacob Foster; a brother, Charles Neal; a sister, Sandra Riedel; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at noon Saturday, Aug. 26, in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, where calling begins at 10 a.m. the Rev. Sherri Blackwell officiates and burial follows in Concord Cemetery, Urbana.
