Brian Lee Bell, 37, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, in Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born in Sidney on April 21,1980, and is survived by his parents, Randy and Stacey Bell of Bellefontaine; his fiancé of 14 years, Amanda C. Garber of Bellefontaine; four sons, Blake Bell, 17, Dallas Bell,16, Sylas Bell, 8, and Brooks Garber, 17; two sisters, Dana Bell of Bellefontaine and Melissa Bell of Centerburg; one brother, Mark (Shauna) Bell of Centerburg; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Ceylor of Sidney; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Bell, Doyle Ceylor and Holmes and Evelyn Bell.
Brian was a 1998 graduate of Riverside High School via the Hi-Point Career Center JVS and worked for SpartanNash in Bellefontaine. He loved live music and going to concerts. He enjoyed reading books and was a very caring and empathetic person. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his children. He lived by the motto, “through adversity, there is redemption.”
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, Quincy at a later date. The family requests anyone attending come dressed in casual attire.
