Phyllis E. Weidner, 86, of Russells Point, passed away Saturday evening, Aug. 5, 2017, at her home.
Phyllis was born July 31, 1931, in Dayton, to the late William and Oma Jean Cupp Harm. She married Jerry Weidner Sr. on Nov. 25, 1950, and he preceded her in death June 17, 1996. She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Pam Neal and Cindy Gilroy; and a granddaughter, Alexis Weidner.
Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Karen (Mike) Pence of Lakeview; five sons: Jerry (Peg) Weidner Jr. of DeGraff, Tim Weidner of Big Pine Key, Fla., Mark Weidner and Jeff Weidner, both of Russells Point, and Chris Weidner of Bremen, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Dan Gilroy of Big Pine Key, Fla., and Jerry Neal of Bellefontaine; a brother, Thomas Harm of Dayton; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Phyllis was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph Commercial High School in Dayton. She loved working jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, following visitation that begins at noon. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
