Alyce Marie Kalb, 60, of Kenton, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Oct. 5, 1956, to Carl and Alice McClary Shannon, who proceeded her in death. On Aug. 17, 1974, she married Lorenzo Kalb, and he survives in Kenton.
Survivors include her four children, Danielle (Randy) Smith of Bellefontaine and Christopher (Melissa) Kalb, Angela Kalb and Hannah Kalb, all of Kenton; brothers, James (Teresa) Shannon of Zanesville and Rodger (Karen) Shannon of Arizona; sister, Terry Shannon of Arizona; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Perry and Myrtle Kalb of Forest; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven Shannon.
In 1983, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her dedication to Jehovah God shaped every other aspect of her life. Because of the faith she and Lorenzo have, they instilled that faith and solid values in their children. We as a family are greatly looking forward to seeing her again when God’s promises are fulfilled for a resurrection.
A memorial service begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1500 S. Main St., Kenton.
