Jeffrey Alan Brentlinger, 45, of Zanesfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Kenton on Aug. 26, 1971, to the late Ray and Joy Bowersmith Brentlinger.
He is survived by his children, Kelsie Brentlinger of Zanesfield, Kody (Emily) Brentlinger of Fairborn and Chris (Macy) Bailey of Columbus; a granddaughter, Jessica Brentlinger; sister, Kim (Brian) Nelson of Nevada; brothers, Harold Brentlinger of DeGraff and Kevin (Teri) Brentlinger of West Mansfield; many nieces and nephews; and many family friends, the Martins and Arseneaus.
Jeff worked at Honda Transmission in Russells Point and owned and operated JB Pool, Spa and Supplies in Bellefontaine for many years. He loved boating and being on the lake. Jeff enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys, and Ben Logan Raiders football games. He truly loved his children and granddaughter “Baby J.” Jeff enjoyed being around his family, friends, and never knew a stranger. His big hugs will never be forgotten.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a celebration of life service at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home.
The family requests guests wear their favorite sports attire for visitation Thursday evening.
