Patricia “Pat” Ann South Johnson, 82, of West Liberty, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013, in Green Hills Community, West Liberty.
She was born in Champaign County on Oct. 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Raymond and Thelma Cooper South.
Patricia graduated from West Liberty High School in 1949 and married the late John Johnson on June 2, 1949.
She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Brandeberry Chrysler/Plymouth in Urbana and was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star 335.
She and her late husband owned and operated Fishing World in West Liberty and enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Oelker; son, Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Shane Oelker and Amber Oelker; and great-granddaughter, Madison, all of West Liberty.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the West Liberty United Methodist Church, 202 W. Newell St., West Liberty, followed by an Eastern Star service. Pastor Lee Ortman officiates a funeral at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, followed by burial in Kingscreek Cemetery.
