Jerry Lee Roweton, 81, of Lakeview, passed away at his residence.
He was born in Dayton on March 20, 1932, to the late Adam and Nellie Whiteman Roweton.
On May 29, 1953, he married Bonnie Spencer in Dayton and she preceded him in death May 13, 2005. He also was preceded in death by three sons, Jerry, James and Robert Roweton; a daughter, Karen Durr; and one grandchild.
Survivors include his daughter, Jean Anne Roweton of Homosassa, Fla.; daughters-in-law, Judy Roweton of New Carlisle and Brenda Roweton of Homosassa, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He retired from General Motors in Dayton and pastored at Indian Lake Christian Tabernacle. He also volunteered at Indian Lake Our Daily Bread and the local Neighborhood Watch Group.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire.
