Charles A. ‘Pete’ Foreman

Charles A. “Pete” Foreman, 78, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Columbus.

He was born in Middleburg on Jan. 4, 1935, a son of the late George and Vena LeVan Foreman. He also was preceded in death by two wives, Sharon Kay Hunt Foreman and Gwendolyn J. Aulls Foreman; one brother, George A. Foreman Jr.; and one sister, Sandy Hairfield.

Survivors include his children, Merita Lynn Haney, Bruce (Bernice) Foreman, Rick Foreman, Teri (John) Stevens and Tim (Susan) O’Rielley; sisters, Ruth Short and Joy Luman; brothers, Kenneth (Julia) Foreman, Lester (Jeri) Foreman and Terry Foreman; grandchildren, Joshua and Jason Haney, Bryan Foreman, Justin Alexander, Keri Fergus, Kelly (Mike) Ruble, Katie (Adam) Palmer, Jill and (Matt) Meighan and Becky O’Rielley; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Foreman retired from Logan View and was a life member of the VFW and American Legion.

Memorial services are at the convenience of the family.
