Troy Shisler, 44, of Sadieville, Ky., died Sunday evening, Jan. 6, 2013, in Lexington, Ky.

He was born in Urbana on June 6, 1968, to Faye Laney Shisler, who survives, and the late Robert Shisler.

On March 27, 1992, he married the former Valorie Dye and she survives, along with a son, Cameron Lee Shisler of Sadieville, Ky.; and daughter, Carmen Marie Shisler of Sadieville, Ky.; a brother, Robert Edward (Terri) Shisler of Offutt, Ky.; two sisters, Angelia (Joseph) Spillman of Waynesfield and Bobbi Jo (Sean) Ammons of Belle Center.

An auto mechanic, he was employed by J&B Auto.

Visitation is from noon until a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Preston Funeral Chapel in Kentucky, officiated by Steve Rose. Burial is in Laney Cemetery, Offutt, Ky.
