Robert Mowery Nolan, 60, of Sidney, passed away at 9:31 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Detroit on July 20, 1952, a son of the late Robert and Lydia Rebiczke Nolan. He also was preceded in death by one brother, Frank E. Meade.
Robert is survived by his son, Tim (Denise) Nolan of Minster; four grandchildren, Jordan, Kaycie, Kennedy and Blake Nolan; and one brother, Richard (Ruth) Meade of Leesburg, Fla.
A retired mechanic, Mr. Nolan was a member of the Minster Eagles and Sidney AMVETS. He enjoyed watching baseball, and his frequent visits to the Sidney Senior Center, where he would play cards.
Most of all he cherished the time that he spent with his family, who will all miss him dearly.
Robert was a member of the Sidney First United Methodist Church, where the Rev. Dr. David Chivington officiates a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Arrangements were handled by Cromes Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Sidney.
