Wanda F. Trabert, 77, of West Liberty, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
She was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Cloden, W.Va., a daughter of the late Winifred and Ora B. Martin Honaker.
She married Robert L. Trabert on Nov. 22, 1953, in Sidney, and he preceded her in death June 9, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lenny Ray Trabert, a sister, four brothers and two half brothers.
She was a Christian lady and a true lover of the Lord. She loved to bake cookies and share them with everyone and also loved her birds and flowers.
Survivors include her sons, David Trabert of Troy and Robert (Cathy) Trabert of West Liberty; grandchildren, James Trabert, Mike (Tara) Trabert, Chris Trabert, Ryan Trabert, Latasha (Chad) Hackley, Jennifer (Jimmie) Ashford, Nikita Trabert, Bradley Trabert, Jena Wiseman and Nicole Trabert; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tee Honaker of Sidney, Larry (Shirley) Honaker of Oregon and Denny Jacquis of Sidney; a sister, Reba (Norman) Jones of Sidney; and many special friends.
Nathaniel “Levi” King officiates a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home, West Liberty, where calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
