June M. Johnson, 89, of Forest, died at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
She was born in Mt. Victory on Feb. 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Mack and Azotus Coile Sullivan. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Johnson, on Feb. 7, 1990; two sisters, Shirley and Eloise; and two brothers, Richard and infant brother.
Survivors include daughters, Linda (Wayne) Moon and Becky (Craig) Walton, both of Forest; sons, Ronald Johnson of Forest and Tom (Sandy) Johnson of Defiance; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and brother, James Sullivan of Virginia.
A 1939 graduate of Byhalia High School, she worked at D.A.B. in Bellefontaine and was a former house mother for Sigma Pi fraternity at Ohio Northern University.
She was a member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose Family Center, Kenton Lodge 428.
Pastor Denny Livingston conducts a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today, followed by a Women of the Moose service. Burial is in Patterson Cemetery.
