Bernard Page, 77, of Benson, Ariz., formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Dayton VA Hospital, Dayton.
He was born in Cleveland on Nov. 24, 1934, to the late Mitchell and Geneva Page Banks. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Warner Page; and second wife, Betty Ramsey Page; stepdaughter, Rita Adams; stepbrother, Thomas Hunter; and special friend, Ann Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by his daughters, Geneva “Snook” Fogel of Bellefontaine, Patty Page of Xenia and Malica Page of Kansas City, Mo.; son, Bernard (Gwendayln) Page of Humble, Texas; stepsons, Michael Warner and Alvin (Debbie) Warner, both of Bellefontaine and Ralph (Robbie) Warner of Morain; sister, Juanita Echos and brother, Terry Banks, both of Cleveland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special longtime friend Butch Lenhart of Bellefontaine.
He joined the U.S. Air Force upon graduation in 1952 and retired from the service Nov. 1, 1972.
He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved his Ham Radios. He will be sadly missed by all of his friends in Benson, Ariz., especially John Eismon and the guys at Barney’s Auto Sales.
A graveside service begins at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Dayton VA Hospital Cemetery. A celebration of life is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace AME Church, 233 S. Main St., Bellefontaine.
