Norman C. Millisor, 87, of Belle Center, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Green Hills Retirement Community, West Liberty.
He was born in Marion on April 12, 1925, to the late Willis and Willa Fields Millisor.
On March 2, 1946, he married the former Carol Stevenson in Worcester, Mass., and she preceded him in death Dec. 29, 2003. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Anshutz; and seven brothers, Robert, Darrel, John, Junior, Irvin, Ralph and Dick Millisor.
A graduate of LaRue High School, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for Millisor Chevrolet in Belle Center and then in Russells Point after it was relocated in 1967. He also was a member of Indian Lake Community Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Schrader of Lakeview and Nancy Rapp of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Nicole (James) Schwieterman of Toledo, Ryan (Erin) Schrader of Columbus, Molly (Wes) Hall of Belle Center, Abbey Rapp-Cotterman of Lewistown, Jonn (Valarie) Rapp of Huntsville and Morgan (Jeremy) Kaser of Elida; 12 great-grandchildren, Sydney and Reed Schwieterman, Maddux, Cooper and Miller Hall, Libby, Allix and Kendall Cotterman, Annie and Aaron Rapp and Owen and Ivy Kaser; two brothers, Russel (Nancy) Millisor of Belle Center and Ronald “Jack” Millisor of Marion.
Visitation is from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Belle Center, followed at 6 p.m. by a graveside service conducted by Pastor Karen Blackburn in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
