Adam Johnson, 29, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Beach Cove Resort, North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Born in Bellefontaine on June 21, 1983, to Dennis and Betsy Jackson Johnson, who survive in Bellefontaine, he also is survived by sisters, Kelley (Steve) Fulmer and Amber Haynes, both of Bellefontaine; brothers, Devon Johnson of Athens and Jeff Johnson of Bellefontaine; five nieces and two nephews; maternal grandmother, Georgia Jackson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He worked as a cook at Tokyo Grill in Bellefontaine and enjoyed glassworking, cooking and computers.
A Logan County master gardener, he had a passion to work with plants in an attempt to find a cure for cancer.
Rainbow Eagle officiates a funeral at noon Saturday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial is at a later date.
