For 30 years, Ruthie thoroughly enjoyed teaching the Toddler Sunday School class at West Liberty First Church of God. She loved her students and they adored her.
Ruthie will also be remembered as the perfect grandmother. The gentle, godly woman loved to babysit her grandchildren and to cook for her family. Grandchildren could drop in at her house at anytime and be sure her face would light up upon seeing them and homemade cookies would be waiting for them in her inviting kitchen. Her holiday cutout cookies were the family’s favorite. She would also try to attend all the grandchildren’s school and sport events. She loved her grandkids so much and wanted them to feel that love.
Ruthie also enjoyed reading books and newspapers and watching the Cincinnati Reds and OSU football and basketball.
