Lois May Reynolds, 79, of Rushsylvania, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, July 7, 2014.
She was born in Rushsylvania July 8, 1934, to the late Ina Payne and George Crevison.
On Aug. 28, 1948, she was married to John Robert Reynolds in Newport, Ky., and they were married for 56 years before the Lord called him home Sept. 3, 2004. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Crevison, Charles Crevison and Frank Crevison; a brother-in-law, Warren “Soap” Green; a sister-in- law, Jennie Crevison; and a grandson, Douglas Langstaff and his wife, Misty Rose Langstaff.
Lois loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She is survived by two sons, William John (Cheryl) Reynolds of Olympia, Wash., and Robert Alan (Shirley) Reynolds of Plain City; four daughters, Jean Ann (David “Skip”) Downey of Marysville, Karen Sue (Victor) Wilcoxon of Warrenton, Va., Beverly Kay (Stephen) Langstaff of Springfield and Barbara Lynn (Gene) Hunt of Bellefontaine; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Thompson of Waverly, Tenn., and Daisy Green of West Mansfield; and two brothers, Douglas Crevison of McArthur and John Crevison of West Mansfield.
Many years ago, Lois asked Jesus Christ to come into her heart and life and she was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and Ridgeway Church of Christ for many years.
Lois was a hard-working homemaker who raised six children. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, taking pictures of her family and celebrating Easter and other holidays with her grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where Pastor Cory Savage officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11. Burial is in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
