James William “Bill” Miller, 64, of Kenton, passed away 10 a.m. Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Logan County on Dec. 22, 1949, to the late David A. and Margaret J. Patrick Miller. He also was preceded in death by his son, Steven Christopher Miller; his stepmother, Ella Miller; his sister, Fonda Robinson; and a half-sister, Rose Marie Miller.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Linda Holcomb and Barbara Hatcher, both of Kenton, and Margaret “Peg” Brown of Defiance; and his brother, David E. Miller of Kenton.
Bill was a retired insurance salesman. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a member of the AMVETS Post 1994 and the Loyal Order of Moose 428.
A funeral service is at 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton, with Pastor Denny Livingston officiating. Burial is in Grove Cemetery, Kenton, where full military rites are conducted by AMVETS Post 1994. Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
