Steven Richard Server, 62, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, in his beloved home in East Burke, Vt.
He was born Oct. 14, 1951, to Pat Weber Hunt, who survives in Sidney, and the late Richard Walton Server.
He also was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Server; sister, Kathy McWade Fine; and stepfather, Richard Hunt.
He also is survived by a daughter, Sage Willow (Tom) Pecoraro and granddaughter, Adelie Luliana Pecoraro, all of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; a sister, Betsy Jean Server, and nephew, Nicholas Server, both of Zanesfield; a brother, Rick Hunt, and nephew, Kyle Hunt, both of Sidney; and numerous friends, including close friends, John and Andrea Kupetz of East Burke, Vt.
He was a 1970 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and was a member of the Satan’s Angels Drum and Bugle Corps of Bellefontaine. He attended Ohio University and had numerous jobs, including commercial fishing, wind turbine technician and electrical contracting project supervisor.
He truly cherished his home in East Burke. Steve lived in “God’s country” and was content to fish, hunt and enjoy his many friends there.
Steve performed many roles in his lifetime, but his most important were as father and grandfather, son, brother and friend. Steve was a loving and supportive father, son and the best big brother in the world. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
A memorial service is Sunday in East Burke, Vt.
