Larry Cecil Bell, 69, of Mooresboro, N.C., passed away at 2:34 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at Hospice of Rutherford County, Forest City, N.C.
He was born in Logan County on July 9, 1944, to the late Cecil and Gladys McFarlin Bell. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
On Oct. 14, 1964, he married the former Ruth Carol Williams and she survives, along with two sons, Tim (Shelly) Bell of Mooresboro, N.C., and Eric (Kelly) Bell of Quincy; grandchildren, Dillon, Derek and Amber; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was a truck driver and knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He expressed love for his family through his cooking.
A private graveside service was conducted at the Fairview Cemetery, Quincy.
Memorial contribution may be made to any hospice organization.
