Rebecca “Becky” J. Aldridge, 69, of Kenton, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at her residence.
She was born in Mt. Victory on March 18, 1944, to Lela Harder, who survives in Belle Center, and the late Richard Wood.
On June 29, 2001, she married Larry Aldridge and he survives in Kenton, along with her son, Stephen (Sarah) Gilbert of Forest; her stepchildren, James and Raymond Aldridge of Kansas, Jason Aldridge of Alger, Shara of Florida and Crystal Kanard of Texas; her brothers, Rodney (Paula) Wood and Dennis (Chris) Wood, both of Belle Center; her grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan and Austin Gilbert; and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A 1962 graduate of Belle Center High School, she was a member of AMVETS Post 1994 Ladies Auxiliary and the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.
Becky was an avid cross-stitcher. She was a very involved grandmother and loved her grandkids very much.
Pastor Steve Hess officiates a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial is in Fairview-McDonald Cemetery.
