Mary Sue Henry, 74, of DeGraff, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Pataskala.
She was born in DeGraff on Aug. 23, 1939, a daughter of the late Roy D. and Avril S. Stewart Ellis.
On Dec. 8, 1973, she married Carl Virgil “Buzz” Henry in DeGraff and he died May 10, 2004. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Ellis; and a grandson, Charlie E. Watkins.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky (Chuck) Watkins of Pataskala and Cindy (Rick) Watkins of Quincy, three grandchildren, Chris (Erin) Watkins, J.J. (Lindsay) Martin and Misti (Josh) Moore; and seven great-grandchildren.
She served as clerk for the village of DeGraff and for the Greenwood-Union Cemetery Board.
Her body is being cremated according to her wishes and there are no services. Her ashes will be interred at the convenience of the family in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Riverside E.M.S. DeGraff and Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, OH 43055.
