Beverly “Bev” S. McDonnell, 58, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, 2014, in her residence.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1955, in Bellefontaine, the daughter of the late James and Joanne Duty Clifton.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Charles “Chad” McDonnell of Springfield; two daughters, Loretta (William) Pendergrass of Springfield and Tami (Danny) Gregory of Washington; one son, Charles “Chip” (Sharon) McDonnell of Washington; four sisters, Jerri (Les) Foreman, Debbie Wagy, Vickie Neeld and Teresa (Sam) Miller; three brothers, Dale (Pam) Bennington, John (Celeste) Clifton and Steve Clifton; six grandchildren, Jimmy, Daniel, Chaz, Amanda, Chase and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Brett; two sisters-in-law, Charlene Curran and Christine Bidlack; special aunt, Martha Crum; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Diane and Dottie.
Bev enjoyed reading and playing video games.
Her grandchildren were her life and she will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life is at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, Springfield.
