Damion Jeffery Dolan, 17, of Kenton, passed away at 11:18 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital emergency room.
He was born in Bellefontaine on July 19, 1996, a son of Jeffery and Amy Truman Dolan, who survive in Kenton, along with a sister, Kaytlin Dolan; maternal grandfather, Bob Baum of Kenton; paternal grandparents, Gary (Delores “Dee Dee”) Dolan of Bellefontaine; maternal great-grandmother, Sharon Baum of Kenton; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Diana Baum; maternal great-grandparents, Harley Baum and Don and Mary Truman; and paternal great-grandparents, William and Betty Dolan and Harold and June Martindale.
A senior at Kenton Senior High School, Damion worked at McDonald’s in Kenton. He was a previous member of the Kenton High School boys soccer team.
Damion took pride in his education and studies, especially in the subject of math. He tutored many students in math or any other subject a fellow student asked for help with.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton. Pastor Jason Manns officiates a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John’s United Church of Christ, Kenton. Burial is in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
