John R. Lindsey Jr., 54, previously of Belle Center, passed away suddenly Dec. 19, 2013, at his home in Land-O-Lakes, Fla.
He was born in Germany on Oct. 30, 1959, to the late John and Mary Lindsey. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Janine.
On Nov. 24, 1980, he married the former Donna Gordic, and she survives along with two children, Johnny (Robin) Lindsey III and Amanda (Jose) Crespo, both of Land-O-Lakes; siblings, Stephanie Lindsey of Seattle, Paige (Kevin) Zempter of Belle Center, Bryan (Pam) Lindsey of Belle Center and Kyle (Nancy) Lindsey of Jackson Center; and many niece and nephews, who loved him and his humor.
John served six years in the U.S. Army and worked in many labs and blood bank in the United States. He was a longtime employee of Bio Reference Laboratories as chief information officer.
John gave all the love he had to his family and animals. His goal was to keep a constant bond with his siblings, which he did.
An avid supporter of the Second Amendment, his hobbies included gun collecting and target shooting.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
His final resting place is in Land-O-Lakes.
