Betty L. Kuntz, 85, of Bellefontaine, passed on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She was born in Zanesfield on Oct. 20, 1928, to the late Clifford and Laura Levan Chamberlain. On Feb. 17, 1945, she married Floyd R. Kuntz in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death Sept. 25, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Kuntz; daughter, Carol Cloninger; sisters, Eunice and Ruth Boggs; brother, Milo Chamberlain; and a grandson, Joshua Kuntz.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley M. (fiancé, Karl Landon) Handly and Linda L. Kuntz, both of Kenton; sons, Joseph R. (Sandy) Kuntz of Massillon and Paul E. (Melinda) Kuntz of Swansea, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita (Bill) Rowe of Big Springs, Sharon (Dean) Fuhrer of Beverly and Kathy (Doug) Clark of Bellefontaine; and brothers, Larry Chamberlain of California, Don (Joyce) Chamberlain of Rosewood and Jim (Carolyn) Chamberlain and Richard (Jean) Chamberlain, both of DeGraff.
Betty was very dedicated to her family. She was a homemaker and attended the New Salem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, baking, sewing and going to yard sales.
Pastor Jason Manns officiates a funeral at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is two hours prior. Burial is in the Zanesfield Cemetery.
