Cosma “Minnie” Vicario, 96, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2013, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born in Albany, N.Y. on Nov. 8, 1917, to the late Frank and Josephine Demma Zuccaro.
She married Salvatore “Sam” Bioggio Vicario on Feb. 20, 1936, in Albany, N.Y., and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Elena Donato in 1987; an infant brother; and sisters Mary DeGeorge and Jenny Cira.
Minnie was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a partner with her sister, Jenny, at Cira’s Dressmaking Shop in Bellefontaine. She had also worked at Bulldog Electric and worked the ticket booth at the Holland Theatre for many years. Minnie was a breast cancer survivor.
Survivors include grandchildren, Brian (Julie) Donato of Dublin and Andrea (Tina) Donato of Dayton; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Fr. Patrick Sheridan will celebrate the funeral massat 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church where visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
