Cari Anne Shaffner, 31, of Quincy, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney.
She was born in Guam on Feb. 2, 1982. Survivors include her mother, Connie S. Tracy Clevenger of DeGraff; her father, Franklin Scott Shaffner of Urbana; stepdad, Jim Clevenger of DeGraff; children, Annastasia, Tiberius, Azlan, Cyris and Demi Gonzalez; a brother, Jeremy Jackson of DeGraff; sister, Mary (Angel) Rojas of California; maternal grandmother, Barbara King of DeGraff; nieces and nephews, Denver and Brooklyn Jackson, Randy Dakota Rojas and Angel Rojas Jr.; and many aunts and uncles.
A homemaker, Cari attended West Liberty-Salem High School. Her children were her life.
Pastor Lee Ortman officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, West Liberty, where visitation begins at 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
Family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Children of Cari Shaffner Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 101 N. Main St., DeGraff, OH 43318.
