Carol Graham, 68, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday morning, Oct. 25, 2013, at her daughter’s house surrounded by her family.
She was born in Huntsville on April 7, 1945, to the late Daniel Alvin and Martha Herren Wallace.
Carol married Gary Graham and together they had two children. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 2011. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Taylor; and brothers, Robert Wallace, Max Wallace, Don Wallace and Carl Wallace.
Carol is survived by her children, daughter, Shelly (Chad) Bontjes and son, Steve (Jenny) Graham, both of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren, Tiara Fleming and Griffin and Grady Graham; two stepgrandchildren, Kotey and Josh Bontjes; sisters, Virginia (Junior) Hulbert of Bellefontaine and Mildred Shepard of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A 1963 graduate of Huntsville High School, she worked as a secretary for the Logan County Courts and more than 20 years at Honda before retiring in 2004.
She enjoyed casino trips and loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of people.
Carol had the kindest soul and the biggest heart and was an angel to all who knew her.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine. Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral at noon Wednesday at the Huntsville United Methodist Church. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
