Cathy Danean LeVan, 63, of Urbana, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in Logan County on Nov. 10, 1949, to David Wren, who survives in West Liberty, and the late Margaret Coy Wren.
On Nov. 24, 1994, she married Ronald Wayne LeVan in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2009. A son, Mark Losey; and a brother, Terry Wren, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Deanne (David) LaRoche and Matt (Libby) Losey, both of Bellefontaine; daughter-in-law, Tess Losey of Dublin; grandchildren, Eric, Donnie, Maggie, Kaitlyn, Lillian and Elijah; stepchildren, Ronnie (Tara) LeVan Jr., Dwayne (JoAnne) LeVan, Denise Houser, Ryan LeVan, Dean (Amy) LeVan and Darin (Meghan) LeVan, all of Bellefontaine; nine stepgrandchildren; brothers, David (Dara) Wren of Bellefontaine and Dennis (Donna) Wren of Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Sherry Wren of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cathy retired from the Bellefontaine Police Department. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, decorating and shopping.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where calling is two hours prior. Burial is in the North Greenfield Cemetery at a later date.
Family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus 43214; or to the Logan County Cancer Society, c/o Mary Rutan Foundation, 204 Palmer Ave., Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
