Edward R. Braden, 76, of Huntsville, passed away Friday morning, Oct. 11, 2013, in the emergency room at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Edward was born in Summerset, Ky., on Oct. 25, 1936, to the late Charles and Jane Sears Braden.
On Jan. 4, 1990, he married the former Anna Morgan in Indiana and she survives along with three sons, Eddie Braden and Donnie Braden, both of Dayton, and Ronnie Braden of Texas; two stepdaughters, Linda Brock and Nina Brock, both of Lakeview; a stepson, Matthew Brock of Piqua; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Ed was retired from General Motors. He was a member of Ginghamsburg Church in Vandalia and Indian Lake Eagles Aeries 3615 and Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533, both of Lakeview. He enjoyed music, fishing and boating.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview.
