Debra Furr, 58, of Lakeview, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 13, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Logan County on July 12, 1955, to the late Leigh and Leabelle Baier Varner.
In 1976, she married John Furr in Belle Center and he preceded her in death in 1992. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hare.
Survivors include a daughter, Daphne (Michael) Furr-Hamilton of Canton; son, Tim Royer of West Liberty; grandchildren, Mandi Royer and John Hamilton; sisters, Vada Morris of Tempe, Ariz., Nancy Rogers of Greenville, S.C., and Norma Peloquin of Bellefontaine; brothers, Roy (Sandy) Varner of Arizona, John (Kathy) Varner of Milan and Don (Kay) Varner of Alger; her boyfriend, Mel Orahood of North Lewisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debra worked at Rockwell International in Kenton, and currently was employed at AGC in Bellefontaine.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center, where visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial is at a later date in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Cancer Society and the Hardin County Cancer Society.
