Margaret M. Baughman Robb, 91, of Bellefontaine, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1922, in Hardin County, to the late Carl and Mattie Hites Baughman.
On Sept. 5, 1937, she married Robert T. Robb in Belle Center and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1979. She is also preceded in death by a son, Paul Robb, on Jan. 4, 2011; a sister, Dorcas Robb Tannehill; and two brothers, Harold and Arthur Baughman.
Surviving are their children, Geneva (Charles) Williams of Edenton, N.C. and Ken Robb of Bellefontaine; a special daughter, Phyllis Robb of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Melody (Tom) Gatchel and Beverly (Tom) Jarrett, both of Bellefontaine, Robert Williams of Richmond, Va., Paula (Jim) Streit of Boise, Idaho, and Randy (Shawn) Robb of Urbana; seven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ada Robb of Bellefontaine, Vivian (Foster) Schrader of Belle Center and Joan Heminger of Bellefontaine.
A homemaker, Margaret was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ and its Always Welcome Sunday School Class and the Kitchen, Flower and Encouragement Team committees. She also helped with Vacation Bible School. She loved calling her friends and sending cards on special occasions.
Pastors John Watkins and Dean Wasson officiate a 10 a.m. Tuesday funeral service at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where calling is from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
