Harry E. “The Snake” Anderson, 75, of Russells Point, died peacefully early Sunday morning, Sept. 8, 2013, at his home with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, caregiver James Ryan and friends at his side.
Harry was born in Cincinnati on Feb. 24, 1938, to the late Harry and Mary Vome Anderson. He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Work.
On March 1, 1993, he married the former Debra Berggren in Bellefontaine and she survives, along with his son, Tom (Valerie) Anderson of Scotland; daughter, Mary Jo (Wilbert) Stewert of Union City, Ind.; two grandchildren, Brad Work of Cincinnati and Emily Work of Dayton; and great-granddaughter, Shelby Sue. He had six siblings, Charlie, Jim, Larry, Katie, Joan and Patty.
Harry retired from Monarch Machine Tool in Sidney. He enjoyed fixing and remodeling his home and working in the yard.
Private family services are at a later date.
