Mary Ann Edwards, 77, of Russells Point, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, in Heartland of Indian Lake Rehab Center, Lakeview.
She was born in North Lewisburg on April 10, 1936, a daughter of the late William C. and Elizabeth C. Huffman Burroughs. Mary also was preceded in death by siblings, Merle, Richard “Dick”, Mike, Walter and Pam Burroughs.
She is survived by her husband, James Edwards; her daughters, Betty S. (Roger) Phelps of Dublin and Judy Eubanks of Russells Point; her sons, Rick (Meggan) Eubanks of Lima and Thomas “Tony” Eubanks of Columbus; grandchildren, Cindy (Jason) Vollrath, Dan Phelps, Michelle Eubanks, Richard “Ricky” (Donna) Eubanks, Ashley (Cody) Hillard, Zach Eubanks, Ian Meeker, Reggan Eubanks, Coty Eubanks and Lindsay Eddy; great- grandchildren, Eaven and Alexandria “Alex” Eubanks; her siblings, Doris Ritchie of Circleville, Clarence Burroughs and Lawrence Burroughs, both of Bellefontaine, Ester Speakman of Hebron, Maggie Eubanks of Irwin and Jimmy Burroughs of Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary enjoyed playing bingo and Nintendo, going to garage sales, cooking and watching the Cincinnati Reds.
Pastor Don Hix officiates a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, where visitation is two hours prior.
