Robert C. McMillen, 89, of Western Reserve Masonic Community, Medina, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Nov. 8, 1923, to the late George and Dorothy Reigner McMillen.
He loved his family which include his wife, the former Betty Jo Craven; his children, Teddy (Greg) Woodall and Mindy (Chad) Seymour; grandchildren, Katharine (Kevin), Jennifer (Heinrich) and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Ava, Mia and Henry; and his brother, George.
Robert served during World War II with the United States Army, 503rd Parachute Infantry.
Robert retired as a banker with Huntington Bank. His memberships included Fraternal Order of Eagles 437 Springfield and Anthony Lodge 32nd Degree Mason.
He enjoyed his hobbies including fishing, golf, archery and photography.
Calling is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Western Reserve Masonic Community Chapel, 4931 Nettleton Road, Medina, where the Rev. Larry Marshall is celebrant for a funeral that follows. Burial with military honors is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, where those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery entrance 15 minutes prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memory Care Center Alzheimer’s Unit at Western Reserve Masonic Community.
