Jill Nussbaum, 66, of Montezuma, Ga., went to be with her Lord on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Nussbaum was born in Bellefontaine on Oct. 21, 1946, and was preceded in death by her father, Myron Hurley.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Nussbaum; her mother, Betty Hurley; two children, Heidi (Myke) Harbuck and Hanz (Tina) Nussbaum; a sister, Rosanna Keirn; and nine grandchildren, Andre, Cheri, Cari, Katie, Bronwen, Hannah, Michael, Helen and Matthew.
She graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1964 and Bluffton College in 1968. Mrs. Nussbaum was a schoolteacher at Central Christian High School in Kidron before moving to Montezuma, Ga., in 1989. She was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Whitewater Baptist Church, Oglethorpe, Ga., where the Rev. Chris Hall officiates a funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Levi Mast officiates a graveside service at Gospel Light Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma.
