Shirley A. Motter, 69, of Waynesfield, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 16, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Shirley was born in Celina on Feb. 25, 1944, to the late Gerhard and Fredonia Schnelle Leugers. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Gary Jr.
She is survived by a son, Brian E. Motter of Lima; three grandchildren, Brian W. Motter of Waynesfield, Aaron M. Motter of Beavercreek and Mindy M. (Doug) Shirley of Lima; six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Natalie, Wesley, Macie, Donald and Kameryn; six sisters, Judy (Delbert) Knisley of Washington Court House, Sharon (Ron) Amrine of West Mansfield, Hope (Ken) Martin of Bellefontaine, Mary (Bill) Comer of Huntsville and Joy Tavenner and Louise Bailey, both of Russells Point; four brothers, Joe (Kathy) Leugers and Wayne Leugers, both of Lakeview, Mike (Sue) Leugers of Huntsville and Roger (Kim) Leugers of Belle Center; and several nieces and nephews.
A 1963 graduate of Indian Lake High School, she was a retired homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking and canning. Her greatest love was her family, and she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private services were conducted by her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to her family.
