Lauren L. Ledley, 74, of Ridgeway, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at Logan Acres.
He was born in Hardin County on Jan. 10, 1939, to the late Robert and Mildred McFarlin Ledley. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
On July 18, 1959, he married Nancy Hollopeter and she survives in Ridgeway, along with three sons, Greg Ledley and Tom (Susie) Ledley, both of Ridgeway, and Matt (Jennifer) Ledley of Mt. Victory; six grandchildren, Corey, Olivia, Malana, Mara, and twins MaryEllen and Elizabeth Ledley; and two sisters, Julia Below and Catherine Hoffman.
A dairy farmer, Lauren was a 1957 graduate of Ridgeway High School, member of the John Deere Two Cylinder Tractor Club and a Marine Reservist.
His grandchildren were a big part of his life. He liked collecting antiques, going to Holmes County and restoring tractors and farm machinery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Price Funeral Home, Mt. Victory, where Pastor Dan Holbrook officiates a service at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is in East Liberty Cemetery.
