Dennis W. Sharp, 60, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, at Kobacker House, Columbus.
He was born Oct. 26, 1952, a son of the late B. E. Sharp and the former Dorothy J. Robinson, who survives in West Union.
On Nov. 18, 1978, he married the former Bobbi Woodman in Bellefontaine and she survives, along with daughters, Mitzy (Peter) Sharp Futro of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Sandy Hill of Mooresville, N.C.; son, Joshua Sharp of Columbus; four granddaughters; sisters, Joyce Zimmerman of Loveland and Millie (Bud) Broshears of Bellefontaine; one niece and three nephews.
He was a diesel mechanic with Refurb 1.
A U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1972-1976, he was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ and former member of Harold Kerr Post 173 American Legion, Bellefontaine.
He loved muscle and classic cars, motorcycles, history and classic rock music.
Pastor Dean Wasson officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
