Audra Irene Shaw, 84, of Rushsylvania, passed away Friday evening, June 14, 2013, at the Homestead at Logan Acres.
She was born in Auglaize County on July 24, 1928, to the late Samuel LeRoy and Hazel Maybell Hower Reinhart, and was raised by her aunt and uncle, the late Avis and Ray Hower.
On Aug. 19, 1949, she married Roger A. Shaw in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death July 23, 2012. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Reinhart.
She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Janet (Doit) Miller; longtime friends and neighbors, Ron and Patty Crumm; and sisters-in-law, Helen, Avonelle and Goldie Shaw.
Audra was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed making plastic canvas crafts and sharing them with the people she cared about.
Mike Mariage officiates a funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is one hour prior. Burial is in Miami Cemetery, Rushsylvania.
