Judy Ann Foster, 70, of North Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Big Springs on July 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Gail and Grace Ferguson. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Foster; her son-in-law, Wolf Courths; and her sister-in-law, Carol Ferguson.
Her survivors include her daughters, Valerie (Randy) Tomlin, Pamela Stokes and Shari Courths, all of North Lewisburg; grandchildren, Jason (Chantel) Tomlin, Shawn (Courtney) Tomlin, Zachary Stokes and Lindsay (Gary) Davis; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Gage, Landon, Noah and Griffin; brothers, Bill Ferguson of Troy, and Lloyd (Nora) Ferguson and John (Lana) Ferguson, both of Rushsylvania; sister, Janet (Fred) Allen of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews.
Judy attended Rushsylvania High School and retired from Ranco in Plain City after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Allen Center Baptist Church.
Judy was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The Rev. Craig Kise officiates a funeral at noon Saturday in the Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, with visitation two hours prior. Burial follows in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg.
