Thaddeus “Ted” Strzalka, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., on March 26, 1938, to the late Laura Zugay Strzalka. He also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
In 1959, he married the former Jane Alloway in Columbus and she survives, along with a son, Jim (Jana) Strzalka of West Liberty; a daughter, Cheryl (Harold) Keller of Pickerington; grandchildren, Carley and Jackson Strzalka and Smita and Ethan Keller; sister, Cathi Tucker; brother, Bob Strzalka; and many nieces and nephews.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Ted worked more than 30 years at DAB as a tool designer.
He enjoyed golfing with his friends and family, spending time with his grandchildren, and attending their sporting events.
Gene Marine conducts a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday at Huntsville Cemetery, 3691 County Road 37, Huntsville.
