Thaddeus E. “Ted” Dabrowski, 76, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday afternoon, May 17, 2013, at Kindred Hospital, Lima.
He was born in Boston on March 22, 1937, to the late Thaddeus and Alice Dabrowski. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Dryden.
Ted joined the U.S. Air Force following high school and spent 20 years serving his country before retiring in 1974. He then worked with the U.S. Postal Service from 1978 to 2004 in Bellefontaine.
He was a member of the Eagles, VFW, American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his children, Dennis Dabrowski of Huber Heights and Gerry Grow of Elgin, S.C.; grandchildren, Chelsea Renee Grow and Creed A. Thomas; his longtime companion, Shirley Elliott of Bellefontaine; and many niece and nephews.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral at noon Tuesday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where visitation is one hour prior. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery with military rites by the Logan County Honor Guard.
