Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Weidner Gilroy, 57, of Big Pine Key, Fla., left this world on April 18, 2013, from Key West, Fla., a casualty of cancer.

She married Dan Gilroy on April 8, 1978, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point and had just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.
Formerly of Russells Point, her true passion was her family. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment of being a mother raising her children and running a household. She also enjoyed traveling, interior decorating, power walking and dearly loved socializing with family and friends.
