Richard “Dick” Foreman, 83, of Mt. Victory, died at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born in Hardin County on Feb. 27, 1930, to the late Charles and Jeneva Whipps Foreman. He also was preceded in death by stepfather, Louie Kerns; one stepgrandson, Devin Steggeman; three brothers; and three sisters.
His wife, the former Julia Moore survives, along with three daughters, Kathy Wireman of Mt. Victory, Karen (Kevin) Steggeman of Bellefontaine and Karla Jean Foreman of Mt. Victory; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a farmer and chemical salesman for Laubis Elevator of Hepburn and Occidental Chemical of Mt. Victory. He also was a volunteer fireman for Mt. Victory for more than 30 years.
He was a member of Kenton Family Moose Center and Mt. Victory United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Joe Fittro officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Mt. Victory, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial is in Byhalia Cemetery.
