Carolyn D. Beach, 81, of Kenton, died at 7:13 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center, Findlay.
She was born in Hardin County on June 26, 1931, a daughter of the late Charles Foster and Josephine Dunson Herman.
On Oct. 19, 1952, she married Gordon S. Beach in Dola and he died May 16, 2012. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elgene Herman; and stepfather, Thomas Clark.
Survivors include sons, Jeffrey L. (Vickie) Beach of Kenton and Jan W. (Cynthia) Beach of Rushsylvania; daughter, Jennifer L. Jennings of Worthington; grandchildren, Janelle R. (Matthew) Roth of Indianapolis, Sheri R. Amweg of Mt. Victory, Jamison Jennings of Columbus, Brian C. (Kimberly) Beach of Mt. Victory, and Bailey Beach of Rushsylvania; great-grandchildren, Abbigail Amweg of Mt. Victory, Hannah and Alexander Beach of Mt. Victory, and Madison and Blake Roth of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Christa Beach of Kenton; sister- and brother-in-law, Janet (Ronald) Born of Perrysburg; and a stepsister, Dora Flowers of Kenton.
With her husband Gordon, she owned Ault Implement in Kenton.
A Mt. Victory High School graduate, she was a member of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Kenton, and a past member of the Painter Creek Grange and St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Dola.
Pastor John Dyer conducts a funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton, where visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial is in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
