Steven E. Sacks Sr., 77, of Belle Center, formerly of Kenton, died at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Heartland of Indian Lake.
He was born in Ada on Oct. 8, 1935, to Steven and Beulah Sacks.
In 1963, he married the former Sharon Hoskins and they later divorced.
Survivors include three sons, Steven (Mary) Sacks of Belle Center, Scott Sacks of Russells Point and Shad (Patty) Sacks of Quincy; a daughter, Stacy Sacks of Russells Point; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; one brother, Ronnie Sacks of Columbus; and two sisters, Joan (Tom) Elliot of Toledo and Judy (Don) Brown of Arizona.
He was truck driver for 50 years for several different companies and also was an auto diesel mechanic.
A veteran, he served in the Army and Air Force and was a member of the AMVETS and American Legion.
Pastors Mark Hina and Bill Riley officiate a funeral at 1 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, with visitation two hours prior. Burial is in Grove Cemetery, with military rites by AMVETS Post 1994.
