Agnes H. Fisher, 97, of Belle Center, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in her home.
She was born in Hardin County on Oct. 28, 1915, to the late Scott and Mary Hoon of Chipmunk Corner. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, D.E. Hill, as well as her second husband, Carl W. Fisher; her brother, William D. Hoon; and sister, Doris A. Sloan.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by a daughter, Julie A. Fisher of Belle Center; and a nephew, Mike (Shelly) Hoon of Bellefontaine.
A 1933 graduate of Huntsville High School, Mrs. Fisher was a receptionist for two physicians, one in Bellefontaine and one in Belle Center.
She enjoyed homemaking and gardening, and especially enjoyed designing and sewing Barbie doll clothes.
She was a member of New Richland Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher at one time. She was a 48-year member of the Belle Center Women’s Club.
She truly believed as a Christian that she is now with her Heavenly Father.
Pastor Philip Pockras conducts a private family graveside service in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
